A01 Web Corpus

The A01 Web Corpus provides research access to 80 Tafsir works and the Masnavi. The Arabic versions of the Tafsir texts are sourced from AlTafsir.com. The Masnavi text originates from Masnavi.net.

Within the application you can:

  • Translate passages
  • Comment and discuss texts
  • Edit and refine metadata

Access is currently by registration only, and accounts are created by the project team (no self-registration). However, parts of the data are publicly available, e.g. the Tafsir texts, authors and their metadata (read only), the Masnavi, and a chronological reading of the Qurʾan. Note that you cannot edit, translate, or comment the data without registration.
